The application analysing body language communicates on Invitech’s network

Today, competition is strong in every field of sales, particularly in retail, thus only a one-percent advantage may be sufficient to succeed. DLM Solutions Kft.’s sales promoting development analysing body language aims to grant this advantage. The company with hundreds of clients chose Invitech as its information and communications partner right from the beginning.

Unnoticed assistance with only a few moves

The Android-based application of the developer company runs on tablets, thus it may be used during negotiations without disturbing the client. The user can enter the negotiation partner’s head, hand, arm and leg posture and upper body position in no time on the extremely simple interface, based on pre-defined pictures. The special decision engine of the system interprets the input signals and gives immediate advice on how to divert the meeting in a positive direction.

“There are people who are intuitively capable of reading other people’s body language, but usually it is very time-consuming to learn and properly use the related information material. With our program we cannot completely replace this learning process, however we can support it and the training of salespersons. As far as we know, our development is unique in the domestic market and so far we have not found any similar products either abroad,” said Balázs Hámori, Managing Director at DLM Solutions Kft.

Benefits to various sectors in monetary terms

DLM Pulse equips salespersons with knowledge that could only be obtained over a long time. It can be perfectly used during training and it is much more cost-effective than involving an expert trainer. In addition, it provides more than any other training. The system of rules may be finely tuned based on the collected data while the evaluation and the advice may be customised per industry. For instance, in the meantime we prepared a version of this system that supports the selection of a labour force; it gives valuable assistance to Human Resources employees during job interviews. In 2014, this unique application won the award of companies with a headcount of 20-69 persons at Invitech’s parade of innovations, InnoMax tender.

The system “calculates” our emotions in seconds

The real novelty value of the system lies in the decision engine developed using mathematical methodology; it evaluates the input body language signs based on the system rules and draws conclusions using this evaluation. The system re-evaluates these conclusions on a higher level, in groups, and besides displaying the current and the previous mood values, it gives the user advice on customer management. The tablet as client and the server-side expert engine with high computation needs can communicate with each other very rapidly through Invitech’s firewall-protected, redundant Leased Line Internet access; this way, the user is given feedback almost instantly.

“We are an innovative company, therefore the adequate IT background is essential for us, just like receiving quick and expert support when any need or problem arises. We contacted Invitech in the very beginning: we were on the same page in terms of price and servicing,” added Managing Director Hámori.

As a result of its activity, for Hungary’s market-leading automotive spare parts dealer it is of vital importance to connect its sites via the Internet within the framework of a service guaranteeing a high level of security and providing high availability and high bandwidth. After “Details”, it will be revealed how we could solve this task.

UNIX Autó Kft. is Hungary’s market-leading automotive spare parts dealer. The company with nearly 3,000 employees has established relations with more than 400 suppliers; its stock of about 10 million items is available at its branches, distributors and service points. In addition to Hungary, the company is present in Romania and Slovakia. In these three countries, it has 149 branches in total.

As a result of its activity, for UNIX it is of vital importance to connect its sites via the Internet within the framework of a service guaranteeing a high level of security and providing high availability and high bandwidth.

Invitech’s Leased Line Internet service proved to be a highly stable and reliable choice with outstanding value for money for the market-leading automotive spare parts dealer. Besides, thanks to the related back-up service the risk of downtime is extremely low, as Invitech also provides for this within the framework of the cooperation.

Invitech provides POLUS-COOP Zrt. with reliable ICT support both in retail and wholesale

POLUS-COOP Zrt. gives job opportunity for hundreds of employees and offers fresh bakery products to tens of thousands of customers every day. As the partner of the Hungarian-owned commercial network COOP chain stores and with one of the largest coverages in the Transdanubian region, the company with a turnover of about 6.7 billion Hungarian forints fulfils the daily consumption needs of families. The indispensable ICT solutions are provided by Invitech.

Easier when connected

The regional company engaged in retail and wholesale has 49 sites all over the Transdanubian region; their connection is a key to ensure efficient operation and supply to the stores.

“For POLUS-COOP Zrt. it is of utmost importance to provide same-level services to its customers nationwide, and to this end the state-of-the-art and smooth connection of its several sites is vital. Thanks to this, we can not only support our customers but also facilitate the everyday work of hundreds of colleagues; we place great emphasis on this as they are in contact with our customers, representing the company,” said László György, CFO at POLUS-COOP Zrt.

As the information and communications partner of POLUS-COOP Zrt., Invitech assists in the establishment of this connection with its advanced voice and data services. Within the framework of their cooperation – starting in 2000 – Invitech initially provided traditional voice and Internet services. In 2012 they started to brainstorm about the use of the IPVPN service between the warehouses and production plants as well as the centre to develop a more efficient course of business. The service provider established high-speed Leased Line Internet through the optical network in the centre of POLUS-COOP Zrt. The free communication between the 49 stores and the centre is granted by Invitech’s IP-based voice service. Invitech was a partner to our common reflections too. “This attitude on the part of Invitech is an advantage in the sector that only few market players can say about themselves. All this made a huge impact on our decision,” added József Priskin, IT Manager at POLUS-COOP Zrt.

The advanced solution is more simple

Not every company wishes to invest in physical PBXs because their establishment entails considerable costs, while their operation requires separate capacity and workforce. Therefore, also for POLUS-COOP Zrt., the IP Center proved to be the ideal solution, granting the company a flexibly modifiable voice-based service in addition to favourable per minute charges. The modern PBX solution operated in the cloud is available in a leased construction and it can be established quickly to connect the employees working at the sites and the various departments. At the IP Center, the number of extensions may be varied simply and quickly, thus the number of fixed-line telephone sets will not be higher than currently needed.

With this service, the work can be performed remotely from the store as you can connect to the fixed-line smart phone with a computer or mobile phone too. Another advantage is that the service provider enables the proper operation of the systems “unnoticed”, thus the company using the service can focus on its own business activity at 100%.

LIBRA Szoftver Zrt. is primarily engaged in the development and distribution of management software, and thanks to its parent company, Volán Elektronika Zrt., it has been a key player in the Hungarian IT market for 55 years. Its self-developed management application, called LIBRA, dates back 30 years. The company has always strived to keep up with the advancement in IT, i.e. these days the worldwide spread of cloud computing, thus its latest software for small- and medium-sized enterprises is also available as a cloud service. In this service, Invitech’s data centre at Kozma utca also plays a great role.

With its 25 advisors and 25 developers, LIBRA does not belong to giant corporations, yet it is an essential player in the Hungarian software and IT industry. They have been providing services to 180 large enterprises and more than 550 SME clients for 30 years; last year their turnover exceeded 1.5 billion Hungarian forints. LIBRA is able to develop services, primarily software products, for the sectors of both large enterprises and SMEs, thus enabling the cheaper, faster and, above all, more efficient operation of its partners. The business systems of LIBRA Szoftver have been available as leased construction and in the form of SaaS for years. The construction means that a company can use the application operation as a service for a fixed monthly fee, and the technical background and the operation are provided by LIBRA in cooperation with Invitech.

SaaS requires a background reliable 100%

The IT background infrastructure plays a highly important role in the top servicing of over 700 clients. Therefore, LIBRA pays special attention to the management of its information and communications park. The company has been working with Invitech for several years; besides Internet and telephone, it has been using server services. “When selecting the information and communications partner we primarily considered objective aspects. These include references, value for money and availability commitments; these factors are quantifiable. The factors of uncertainty – for example flexibility on weekdays, clear communication, partnership and accommodation – can only be experienced truly during work,” said László Korpácsi, Deputy CEO at LIBRA Szoftver Zrt.

Renewal of LIBRA also in the cloud

The main point of LIBRA’s new cloud service, LIBRA VIRTUA, is that only a stable Internet connection is required for the introduction and use of integrated management and corporate governance LIBRA systems. The LIBRA modules and the service package are compiled based on the needs of users who pay a use-based monthly fee for the system. This service can be truly effective exclusively if the permanent operation of and access to the servers are continuously guaranteed. For this, Invitech is also responsible.

“I believe that we have found a perfect service provider as, apart from continuous availability, they flexibly adapt to our current needs and they offer the most favourable prices in terms of both server hosting and server leasing,” added Deputy CEO Korpácsi.

The Budapest-based GRoby supermarket chain was founded in 1992 and now operates five stores. The company launched its home delivery service in 1999 and it was among the first in Hungary to open an online store in the spring of 2000. At present, about 230 persons are employed at the company.

For GRoby’s activity, the basic essentials are stable Internet connection, the reliable connection of the sites and customer services enabling the receipt of online orders and the continuous notification of the huge number of customers.

Invitech’s Leased Line Internet service, IP-based telephone system and services – such as the provision of VPN connection between the sites – proved to be the real solution to meet the requirements of the supermarket chain. Besides, a possible data loss would not cause a serious problem because Invitech provides a suitable back-up service.

As the provider of comprehensive IT services to the members of MOL Group, MOL Magyarország Informatikai Szolgáltató Kft. has been relying on our expertise for a long time. Among other requests, it sought our assistance with support and operation on local and service station network level.

Among the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe

MOL Magyarország is an integrated oil, gas and petrochemical company group that is present in four countries and headquartered in Budapest. It is engaged in upstream and downstream activities; its larger refinery and petrochemical units are located in Százhalombatta, Tiszaújváros and Zalaegerszeg. The company is also active in Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. As a flagship organisation, MOL Magyarország is a member of the international MOL Group, which has a large-scale, concentrated international research and production portfolio and is one of the biggest companies in Central and Eastern Europe. MOL Magyarország Informatikai Szolgáltató Kft. (MIS Kft.) was founded in 2015 with the aim to provide comprehensive IT service to the members of MOL Group. The company – with a turnover of more than three billion Hungarian forints in 2018 – has one site and six branches and employs over 200 employees.

Customer-oriented approach

MOL Magyarország Informatikai Szolgáltató Kft. has been working together with Invitech in various areas of information and communications technology for a long time. The two companies have a permanent contractual relationship for the provision of services. MOL requested Invitech’s assistance again in connection with support and operation on local and service station network level. The assignment covers the long-term support of the company’s mobile, desktop, notebook and network environment. Invitech was chosen for its experienced professionals, the optimal price, the professional approach it had taken before and its customer orientation. The transition was completed within a short time and the quality of operation is still excellent as usual.

Serious expectations, complex tasks

After the acquisition of Sinergy in 2015, the two different IT backgrounds had to be harmonised and connection between the sites had to be established. For this, an information and communications service provider was needed that is able both to provide the office and management support solutions in a stable and customised manner, and to service the most complex systems. Two other important requirements were the short completion deadline and the granting of business continuity during the fusion. It also increased the significance of the task that not an ordinary office solution had to be delivered but the establishment of a highly reliable system capable of granting the availability expected in the field of energy was required. In addition, the service provider was requested to establish a flexible and scalable IT environment that is able to adapt to the future changes and growth of ALTEO Nyrt. Thanks to its broad service portfolio and considerable professional experience in projects of similar volume, Invitech proved to be the optimal choice.

“Apart from transparency, investors also expect efficient operation from ALTEO Nyrt. as a listed energy company. The company expects the same from its partners, especially if they are responsible for strategically important areas such as IT, as today the effective operation of energy systems is impossible without an advanced IT and telecommunications background. Suffice it to think of the servicing of complex facilities such as power plants or control centres. To integrate Sinergy’s portfolio, it was inevitable to perfectly harmonise and develop further the IT backgrounds of the two companies. Therefore we decided to use a flexibly scalable and cost-effective service from one place within the framework of comprehensive IT outsourcing. Invitech’s data centre competence convinced us to relocate our servers to its data centre at Kozma utca, which meets the highest-level security requirements,” said Attila Chikán, Jr., CEO at ALTEO Nyrt.

The outsourcing of IT tasks increases flexibility

The new IT system servicing ALTEO was established in only a few months. Invitech was responsible for the management, planning, completion and quality assurance of the whole project, including the comprehensive IT assessment, the establishment of necessary networks and the introduction of the new solutions in parallel with the existing systems. Under the cooperation started in 2015, Invitech is responsible for the secure operation of nearly 200 workstations at 12 ALTEO sites. The assignment also covers the provision of necessary IT devices and applications, from laptops through printers to office and management software. The outsourcing of this service is also beneficial for the energy company because a flexibly scalable IT background facilitates its work for further development in the long run.
